Randi Wilson

Softball Hitting Instructor

Randi grew up in Batesville Arkansas, and played college ball at Ouachita Baptist University.  From there she went on to assist at Murray State University from 2010-2012.

While at Murray the team qualified for the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament both years and produced one of the most prolific offenses in the nation – twice leading the OVC in scoring and being among the nation’s leading statistical units.

The racers had the 2011 OVC Player of the Year and 2012 OVC Freshman of the Year.  In 2012, Murray State led the conference in scoring, fielding percentage, stolen bases and runs batted in (RBI) per game, and finished second in the league in earned run average (ERA), slugging percentage, on-base percentage and double plays.  In Wilson’s last season at Murray State, the program recorded it’s first win over a top 10 team with a win at #9 Missouri in Columbia.

She then went on to head coach at Batesville High School.  In her second year at Batesville, Wilson guided an 11-game improvement, which produced a 20-10 record during the regular season and the team’s first state playoff berth in nine years.  While at Batesville her players set 9 different offensive state records including team slugging percentage, the second most home runs in a season, and most RBI’s by one player in a game.

She now joins the Razorback staff and specializes in catching and hitting.  Contact Randi for lessons by emailing her at randiwilson.17@gmail.com.
